The weather is atrocious today - heavy rain and overcast but this gorgeous bowl of lilies, alstroemerias and roses should make Barnet Contact Centre feel a little more summery.

This year I've decided to make wreaths with treasures that I unearth in charity shops.

This dish of roses and alstroemerias was just delivered to Friend in Need in East Barnet - a splash of colour on an awful day.

I harvested some lavender on Monday and decided to create an autumnal wreath and include the lavender. I'm delivering the wreath to Goodwin Court.

I am delighted to announce that from Friday 20 October the Flower Bank will be delivering to the Meadow Care Home in Muswell Hill.

This trolley load of autumnal flowers from Aldi and Morrisons were wonderful to work with at this morning's session

This design was for a coffee table and would be seen from above. The bowl was purple and the scarlet Dendrobium orchids and purple coloured ornamental cabbages complemented it well.

These arrangements were prepared for Haringey organisations this morning.

So pleased that everything we planted at Goodwin Court in August is thriving. The residents have a herb patch that they are free to take and use in their cooking. Thanks to Morrisons for their end of code herbs which are bringing pleasure to the residents here.

Delivered to Jewish Care in time for the last days of Sukkot. I thought the VW container was fun to use, thank you Morrisons

Deliveries in Barnet using Aldi flowers

Thank you Edwina from Morrisons Palmers Green for always being fantastically hellpful.

I was absolutely delighted today as Flower Bank made its first design for Haringey Registry Office. We used lilies, eustoma and a sprinkling of glitter

Staff at the Contact Centre in Haringey love receiving our designs every Friday.

Autumn is my favourite season - I love the colours and particularly love the ornamental cabbages
