Moving Past The Pain

We’re now in the home straight, Antonio the builder has, true to his word, gone on holiday leaving Steve behind to finish the final bits of snagging. The past 6 - 7 weeks have been a complete whirlwind of dust and decision making and I can’t quite believe that in a couple of weeks we’ll be open, though the official opening won’t be til nearer Christmas. Thanks in advance to Sandra who’s coming in later this morning to advise me on the best layout for the back garden. Last week I started an activity group at a home in Golders Green - we were able to work in the garden in the glorious sunshine. One resident commented that she’d really enjoyed herself and hadn’t thought about the pain in her legs for an hour! On Wednesday I’ve got visits from 2 of the larger backers of the crowdfund campaign Megan from the Mayor of London’s office and Jamie from the Re-generation team at Barnet Council who I’m thrilled to be able to show how their money has and is being spent. I’m still on the hunt for a few things a collapsible trestle table which could accommodate 6 - 8, volunteers to help on Mondays and Thursdays and a graffiti artist so if you can help in anyway please contact me. Have a great week.
