This week has been a logistical nightmare the lack of petrol forced me to cancel my further afield workshops and reduce any unnecessary car journeys to conserve petrol. I haven’t visited Brent Cross for flowers all week and have made do with the flower collections from the M&S branches in Whetstone & Southgate. By Wednesday desperate for petrol my friend kindly syphoned off the petrol from her lawnmower which was all I needed to find fuel and by Thursday I had a full tank once more. This week I’ve also been on the hunt for pampas grass as I wanted to use it in a bat mitzvah arrangement. Thank you, Sue Arran and Helen Nicolau, for coming to the rescue; the arrangements looked glamorous. Next Sunday, 10 October, is World Mental Health Day, and we’re going to be flower bombing like we did last year. I hope you can join in.
