First I have to thank my wonderful neighbour Paula for arranging with our gorgeous local salon “Hair Discovery” to promote the final few weeks of our crowdfunding campaign by arranging for me to having a weekly design in their window - the photograph is Week 1’s. It’s small business Saturday on 1 December and I’ve teamed up with the Royal British Legion in Friern Barnet to run a non-traditional wreath making drop in session. It starts at 11.00 am and runs until 3.30 pm - it would be great to see you there with old baubles, scarves and jewellery oh and it’s £10. I was thrilled to receive a nomination recently for The Flower Bank’s social impact as part of Haringey Expo, we find out the results on Thursday. Next Friday 7 December The Flower Bank is part of an open mic night at Trinity Church in North Finchley from 6.30 - 9.30 - if you know any budding artists please point them in my direction. On Saturday 8 December I’ll be running a traditional wreath workshop at Lordship Rec in Tottenham so please come and join me between 1 and 4, it’s free. On Tuesday 11 December it’s our pub quiz at the Antwerp Arms, London N17 it’s a great venue and the quiz master knows what he’s doing so please come and join us from 7.30 pm. I’m still looking for the final £15K and I’m still approaching donors, banks, building companies and I’m still hopeful we’ll reach our target.
